India won its third gold medal of the ongoing Asian Games as Anush Agarwalla, Hriday Vipul Chheda, Sudipti Hajela and Divyakriti Singh finished on top in Equestrian (Team Dressage event) on Tuesday. This was India's first gold medal in Equestrian since the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi. The Indian team finished on top with 209.205 points, with China and Hong Kong finishing second and third, respectively. On Monday, men's 10m air rifle team won the first gold medal of the ongoing games, with the women's cricket team bagging a second.

The Indian team of Anush Agarwalla, Hriday Vipul, Divyakriti and Sudipti Hajela made history on Tuesday as they claimed a historic gold medal in the Team Dressage Equestrian at the Asian Games 2023. The team ended up with the score of 209.205 to clinch the first ever gold medal for India in the event and the first gold Asian Games gold medal in Equestrian after around 41 years. The quartet took a victory lap after the sensational victory and the video has already gone viral on social media.

India's dressage team cantered to its first ever Asian Games gold and only second in this discipline in the history of the sport with the quartet of Sudipti Hajela, Divyakriti Singh, Vipul Hriday Chheda and Anush Agarwalla living up to expectations on Tuesday. The Indian quartet was performing well in the selection trials as their scores either matched or were better than the Asian Games medal winners from the previous editions. It was more about the colour of medal they would win and they grabbed the top place on the podium by aggregating 209.205 percentage points, leaving behind China (204.882 %) and Hong Kong (204.852%).

The Indian football team held its first training session in Hangzhou before their round of 16 match at the Asian Games. "Finally got done with the first training session with our boys, enjoying beautiful facilities in Hangzhou. Only in the city they have 29 new stadiums and in the region 41.
