On Rohit Sharma's Pic With "Long Lost Friend", Harbhajan Singh Trolls Yuvraj Singh

India captain Rohit Sharma on Tuesday shared a picture with former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh on Instagram. The two are all smiles as they hug each other in the picture. "Met my long lost friend after ages," Rohit captioned the picture, with a heart-eyes emoji. Yuvraj Singh responded to the picture and wrote "My brothaman". However, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, who has played his fair share of cricket with both Rohit and Yuvraj, gatecrashed their bromance with a hilarious comment, trolling the latter.

India on Sunday defeated England by five wickets in the third and deciding ODI to clinch the series 2-1. Chasing a target of 260 runs at Old Trafford in Manchester, India were tottering at 72 for 4 at one stage in the game. This is when Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant stitched a 133-run partnership for the fifth wicket to help India win the game. While Hardik shone with a 71-run knock off 55 balls, Pant stayed not out till the end with an unbeaten century -- 125 off 113 balls.

"45 Minute Conversation...": Yuvraj Singh's Cryptic Tweet On Rishabh Pant Goes Viral

Rishabh Pant turned out to be the hero for the Indian cricket team on Sunday with a maiden ODI century against England in Manchester. Pant's unbeaten 125 off 113 balls helped India recover from 72/4 to chase down a 260-run target in 42.1 overs. Pant and Hardik Pandya (71, 55 balls) shared a 133-run stand for the fifth wicket to help India register a five-wicket win and clinch the series with a 2-1 margin. Pant had been battling poor form in white-ball formats but rose to the task when needed the most.

"Impactful Captain": Yuvraj Singh Leads Birthday Wishes For Sourav Ganguly

Former India captain and current Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly turned 50 on Friday and wishes are pouring in on social media for 'Dada'. Ganguly is credited for creating a formidable lineup and under his leadership, India had defeated Australia in the 2001-02 Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the side had famously staged a win against all odds at the Eden Gardens after Australia had asked the hosts to follow-on. Ganguly had also led India to the final of the 2003 World Cup, where they lost to Ricky Ponting's Australia in the summit clash.

From flooding Sourav Ganguly's room to recommending him for vice captaincy, Sachin Tendulkar recollects old memories with BCCI President

Sachin Tendulkar has seen Sourav Ganguly in various avatars -- a precocious teenager, a talented India contender, a stylish batter, a leader and a busy administrator. But for India's greatest ever batter, what has stood the test of time is their friendship which is still intact and solid, long after they have both stopped playing international cricket. As the BCCI president turns 50 on Friday, his "opening partner" opened up with PTI, sharing many insights into their friendship and how he looked at Ganguly as a future captain when he himself was leading India. Ask him how much freedom Ganguly gave his players during his near five-year tenure as skipper, Tendulkar was effusive in his praise. "Sourav was a great captain. He knew how to maintain a balance - between giving freedom to the players and giving them certain responsibilities," Tendulkar told PTI in an interview. "When he took over, Indian cricket was in a transition phase. We needed the next bunch of players who could set a platform for propelling India forward." Tendulkar feels that Ganguly gave a lot of world class players wings to fly and carve their own niche.

India vs England: Ravindra Jadeja In Elite Club With Third Test Ton, Greats Laud Effort

Ravindra Jadeja continued from where he left on Day 1 in the fifth rescheduled Test against England at Edgbaston and scored only his third Test ton. He reached the three-figure mark in style with a boundary off Matthew Potts. While Rishabh Pant's ton on Friday was fiery, No. 7 Jadeja took his time to settle in and made a late flourish on Saturday. His ton was only the fourth instance of any No. 7 or lower order Indian Test batter scoring two centuries in a calendar year, with Kapil Dev (1986), MS Dhoni (2009) and Harbhajan Singh (2010) being the other members of the elite club. This is also the third instance in Indian cricket, when two left-handers scored tons in the same innings. The earlier instances were: Sadagopan Ramesh (110)-Sourav Ganguly (125) against New Zealand in Ahmedabad (1999) and Ganguly (239)-Yuvraj Singh (169) against Pakistan in in Bengaluru (2007).

"When The 5th Six Was Hit...": Ravi Shastri Recalls Yuvraj Singh's Six Sixes Off Stuart Broad's Over

The 2007 T20 World Cup match between England and India will always have a special place in the hearts of cricket fans. Speaking of special, Yuvraj Singh produced one of the most iconic moments after he struck England pacer Stuart Broad for sixes in an over. Former India head coach Ravi Shastri, who was commentating in the game in Durban, has now recalled the iconic moment. Shastri, who had also hit six sixes in an over during a Ranji Trophy game in 1985, said that it takes a lot of concentration to pull off something like that.
