On Thursday, the 49-year-old smashed 40 runs off just 20 balls against England Legends, including three massive sixes.

India took on Australia in the first of the three-match T20I series in Mohali on Tuesday and there was a lot of star power on show both on and off the field. Two of India cricket's finest players Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh were also honoured for their contribution to the sport as two stands at the PCA stadium in Mohali, named after the duo, were unveiled by Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann.

Yuvraj Singh became the first-ever T20I batter and second batter in international cricket after South Africa's Herschelle Gibbs (ODI) to smash six sixes in an over, against England at Durban during the ICC T20 World Cup 2007. It was the Super Eight phase of the World Cup. After losing their first matches, both India and England desperately needed a win to boost their chances in semis. India were dominating their second Super Eight match against England, at 171/3 in 18 overs after choosing to bat first. After exchanging a few heated words with all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, Yuvraj was all fired up, all set to unleash his hard-hitting game against England.

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who hung his boots from all forms of international cricket in 2019, has been of the most powerful batters, the country has ever had. The Punjab-born cricketer rose on many occasions to take Team India through the line in tough matches. In every format, Yuvraj gave a remarkable performance and achieved many milestones. One such milestone was achieved, during the 2007 T20 World Cup clash against England, when Yuvraj hit six consecutive 6s off the bowling of Stuart Broad.

While India defeated South Africa Legends in their opening game, their match against West Indies Legends was washed out in Kanpur. Ahead of their game against New Zealand Legends on Sunday, Tendulkar was seen hitting the nets at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
