Walter Wallberg of Sweden produced the run of his life to take the gold medal in the men's moguls and stun reigning champion Mikael Kingsbury. Wallberg, who has never won on the World Cup tour, put everything into the last run of the day and stole the gold from Canadian favourite Kingsbury. Ad/> Kingsbury, who has 71 World Cup wins, had to settle for silver.

ZHANGJIAKOU, China (Reuters) - Defending champion Mikael Kingsbury of Canada easily beat his rivals to lead the Olympic men's freestyle moguls qualifying on Thursday, ahead of Sweden's Walter Wallberg and France's Benjamin Cavet.

Team GB's William Feneley missed out on the top ten of the first qualifying for the men's moguls final, scoring 70.23 to finish 21st. Canadian Mikael Kingsbury's 81.15 topped qualification ahead of Sweden's Walter Wallberg.
