Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton leads F1 tributes to 'icon' Queen Elizabeth II, minute silence before FP1
Lewis Hamilton paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II following the news of her death on Thursday, with a minute's silence held before Friday's practice session. Before the start of proceedings in Monza the teams gathered in the paddocks, outside their garages, to pay their respects. Ad Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff wore a black armband, and Britons Hamilton, George Russell and Ross Brawn all gathered at the front of the group.
