Star England all-rounder Ben Stokes, who was the hero of England's 2019 World Cup final win, announced on Monday that he will be retiring from ODIs after the series opener against South Africa, which will be played at his home ground in Durham. "He Is Very Similar To Javed Miandad": Former Pakistan Captain On Virat Kohli

Star India batter Virat Kohli is going through a rough patch with the bat. He has not been able to score big in recent time and he last scored a century back in 2019. Kohli was dismissed on 16 off 25 deliveries in the second ODI against England. The 33-year-old has struggled against length deliveries outside-off too. While pointing out that technology has changed how the sport is played nowadays, Kohli, in some ways, is "similar to Javed Miandad" as both haven't relied too much on data, according to former Pakistan cricket team captain Rashid Latif.

England vs India 2nd T20I Preview: Rohit Sharma-Led Side Eyes Series Win After Dominating Show In Southampton

Star India batter Virat Kohli would be desperate to come out of his prolonged lean patch when he makes his T20 return after five months with the second game against England, in Birmingham on Saturday. Kohli, who last played a T20 international in February, has featured in only two games since India's underwhelming campaign in the T20 World Cup in October-November when he was captain of the national side. The only T20 cricket he played since then was in the IPL but there too he was far from his best.
