The Indian women's cricket team lost their third match in a row on their tour of New Zealand to surrender the five match series. New Zealand women chased down a stiff target of 280 runs in the third ODI to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series. The Indians did well to post a challenging total of 279 run son the board but New Zealand's middle-order came out all guns blazing to eventually take their team over the line with 5 balls to spare.
