The start of play after lunch on Day 3 of the second Test match between Australia and Pakistan in Melbourne was delayed for a bizarre reason. All the players and on-fielders umpires were out in the middle but the play could not start for a few minutes as third umpire Richard Illingworth was stuck in a lift and could not make his way back to his setup. The players were not clear regarding the delay and the on-field umpires informed them about the situation. However, it was resolved in some time as Illingworth took his position and the game was able to start with Pakistan in a dominant position for the time being.

The first day of the rain-marred second Test match between Australia and Pakistan in Melbourne on Tuesday saw hilarious scenes as Marnus Labuschagne chased away pigeons on the ground. A number of pigeons were sitting near the boundary and Labuschagne turned scarecrow to make them go away. Labuschagne was not the only one as later, Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Hasan Ali also trying to replicate him and chased after the pigeons to leave social media amused. Internet users were quick to react and they came up with a hilarious comparison with famous Bollywood film 'DDLJ'.

A stubborn Marnus Labuschagne weathered a storm to help steer Australia to 187-3 on a rain-disrupted opening day of the second Test in Melbourne Tuesday against a probing and resilient Pakistan attack. At stumps, he was unbeaten on a glacial 44 off 120 balls and Travis Head was not out on nine after nearly three hours' play were lost to rain. Pakistan's bowlers found plenty of movement in the overcast conditions and were rewarded with the wickets of David Warner (38), Usman Khawaja (42) and Steve Smith (26).

PCB Mulls Regulation To Forbid Agents From Signing More Than 2-3 Players

The Pakistan Cricket Board is looking to implement a regulation which forbids any player's agent or company from signing more than 2 to 3 players at one time for representation. The cricket management committee running the Board affairs is expected to take a final decision on this regulation in the next couple of days after two agencies signed on dozens of Pakistani team players and officials for representation. After realising that one agent, Talha Rehmani and his company Saya Corporation represented 7-8 leading Pakistani players and officials including Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Muhammad Rizwan, PCB has now learnt that another agency known as International Cricketers Association (ICA) also has contracts with many players and officials presently touring Australia.
