The biggest show in professional wrestling is headed back to Las Vegas. WWE will take over Allegiant Stadium for two nights with WrestleMania 42. Recently retired 17-time world champion John Cena is scheduled to host the star-studded affair.
Saudi Arabia was the first stop on the road to WrestleMania 42, as the WWE hosted Royal Rumble at KAFD in Riyadh on Saturday.
Royal Rumble, the third-longest-running annual WWE premium live event, returns on Saturday (2 p.m. ET, ESPN Unlimited). The event, which will take place at KAFD in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, started in 1988 and is traditionally the first PLE of each year.
A signed contract — with the obligatory brawl — between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, a potential Brock Lesnar-Paul Heyman reunion, another impressive victory for women's tag team champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and another U.S. title defense by Sami Zayn highlighted SmackDown's go-home show Friday ahead of Saturday's Wrestlepalooza (7 p.m. ET on ESPN Unlimited).
