There is however no shooting at the Games this time and that is likely to dent India's overall medal count. MS Dhoni, who is enjoying his time in England for at least two weeks now, was seen being chased by fans for a selfie with him in the streets of London. The 41-year-old cricketer is in England since before his birthday on July 7. He celebrated his birthday with his wife, friends and a few Indian cricketers as well. Apart from that, Dhoni has been to watch India's matches in the ongoing tour and even met a few of his former teammates in the dressing room after the 2nd T20I and Lord's ODI. On Saturday, a fan-video of the Chennai Super Kings' skipper went viral where he could be seen walking on the streets of London. A large number of Indian fans were seen chasing him, some were even seen clicking running selfies while the others kept pace with the security personnel surrounding him to get a glimpse of their idol.
The second ODI between India and England was a star-studded affair with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina in attendance. However, it was a bad day at the office for India as they lost the contest by 100 runs and as a result, the three-match series stands level at 1-1 with the decider to be played in Manchester on Sunday. A day after the game, 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar shared a photo with West Indies legend Sir Garfield Sobers on Twitter.
The second ODI between India and England at Lord's Cricket Stadium was a star-studded affair as many former players were in attendance to witness the high-voltage clash live. India came up short in the second ODI and the Rohit Sharma-led side lost the contest by 100 runs. Among many star attractions, fans were elated to see Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni in attendance for the match. England's superb comeback, after being hammered in the opener, has helped them tie the score 1-1 and set up an exciting finale, with the ODI series decider to be played on July 17 at Old Trafford. AS IT HAPPENEDLike England saw their batting implode in the first ODI, India too suffered a horrible top-order collapse which saw them crash to 31 for four in the 12th over. Chasing 247, the visitors folded for 146 in 38. 5 overs. Making things difficult for India with his high point of release due to his tall frame, Topley sent back both India's openers, skipper Rohit Sharma (0 off 10 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (9 off 26 balls), before getting the in-form Suryakumar (27 off 29 balls), Shami (23), Chahal (3) and Krishna (0). Brydon Carse dismissed Rishabh Pant (0, 5b) and David Willey took out an out-of-form former captain Virat Kohli (16, 25b, 3x4) as England's pacers breathed fire on a pitch which had a bit of extra bounce. Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya each scored 29 off 44 balls, but both perished to England's spinners. While Pandya holed out to deep mid-wicket off Moeen Ali, Jadeja played all over a simple delivery from Liam Livingstone.
