England pacer Reece Topley has been fined 15 per cent of his match fees by the International Cricket Council as he smashed a chair after an injury setback during the first T20I against the West Indies. Topley jarred his right knee during the series opener against the West Indies on Saturday. He tried to continue bowling after a short rain delay but eventually left the field after bowling one more delivery and didn't take the field for the rest of the game. As he walked back up the steps, Topley was seen picking up a chair and smashing it on the staircase handrail.

The series will feature two Tests and will be important for both side's ICC World Test Championship final chances. Mckenzie, who played 58 Test matches between 2000 and 2009, racked up over 3,253 runs for South Africa, with five centuries and 16 fifties. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) women's team assistant head coach Malolan Rangarajan said that the team is aiming to have a couple of camps for the players ahead of the Women's Premier League (WPL) season three auction to be held this year. RCB on Thursday announced the retention of 14 players, including six overseas, ahead of the WPL 2025 auction, with captain Smriti Mandhana, star batter Ellyse Perry, and wicket-keeper Richa Ghosh headlining the list of retainees of the championship-winning team from this year.
