HIGHFIELD PRINCESS (3:40) can write another chapter in her legend in the Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. John Quinn’s horse joined the sprint elite by routing Minzaal in the Maurice de Gheest at Deauville. The mare continued her relentless rise by thrashing The Platinum Queen in the Nunthorpe at York. She completed a Group 1 treble by bolting up from Erosandpsyche in the Flying Five at the Curragh. The six-year-old finally paid for those exertions when only fourth in the Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland. The bay began her new campaign with a creditable second to Azure Blue on her comeback at York. She put that run to good use when second to the classy Bradsell in the King’s Stand here on Tuesday. The superstar was slightly unlucky so she can enjoy another top-level triumph back over six furlongs.
