Ricky Ponting feels both Rishabh Pant and former batter Adam Gilchrist have a similar approach however, he wants the India wicket-keeper to at least play 50-60 Test matches before making any comparisons. "It's easy to lambast Cricket Australia, because they are not very good, and it was only to be expected, their reaction," Chappell told the Wide World of Sports this week.
Jason Gillespie on Tuesday said he is not interested in the top job and described Justin Langer's departure as "heartbreaking". Gillespie, who is South Australia's coach and also has the experience of guiding English county sides Sussex and Yorkshire, was touted as a potential replacement for Langer alongwith Trevor Bayliss, Ricky Ponting, Greg Shipperd and Michael Di Venuto.
