"Give Yourself Little Bit...": Ravi Shastri's Advice To Off-Colour Suryakumar Yadav

It seemed at one point that Suryakumar Yadav is a man on a mission after breaking into the Indian team back in 2021. However, Suryakumar, who is the no.1 T20I batter, is been going through a lean patch with the bat. Known for his innovative stroke-making and counter-attacking cricket, Suryakumar has even struggled to touch the ball, getting out on three consecutive golden ball ducks during the recently-concluded India vs Australia ODI series. His struggles have continued in Mumbai Indians' first two games of IPL 2023.

'Ridiculous, Frustrating, Unreal...': Ravi Shastri Fumes Over Indian Pacers Getting Injured Too Often

Former Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shastri has lashed out at the Indian pacers for getting injured too often. It is worth noting that the Indian pace department has been constantly dealing with the injuries to players. Some star pacers like Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah have been struggling to recover properly. Shastri pointed out that recurring injuries to fast bowlers is frustrating for both -- the BCCI and the franchises. He added that the pacers need to make sure that they recover properly before making a comeback.

IPL 2023 - "In 43 Years...": Praising Rinku Singh, KKR Coach Chandrakant Pandit Draws Parallels With Ravi Shastri, Javed Miandad

With 7-down Kolkata Knight Riders needing 29 runs off the last over, it was unlikely for most to hope that the side would give a fight to their opponents Gujarat Titans. While Rashid Khan's magical hat-trick had almost sealed the game for the Hardik Pandya-led GT, winning seemed to be just a formality for the side. Yash Dayal was handed the ball in the final over and the first delivery went for a single. With 28 needed off 5 balls, GT would have thought that the game was in their pocket, however, KKR's Rinku Singh had some other idea. Rinku hit five consecutive sixes and sealed a nearly impossible victory for Nitish Rana and company.
