"Playing throughout the tournament, we have been losing one game and winning one game. That's something we wanted to change as a team and we got it," Pant said after the match.

IPL 2022: Fans Train Guns At RCB's Mohammed Siraj After Yet Another Poor Outing

Royal Challengers Bangalore's hopes of making the playoffs received a big setback after their 54-run loss to Punjab Kings meant that they remain on 14 points with just one match remaining for them. RCB's net run-rate also suffered and this could be a big problem with quite a few teams breathing down their necks in the race for the playoffs. On Friday, two RCB bowlers had a nightmare -- Mohammed Siraj and Josh Hazlewood. While the Australian has been impressive all season, and the performance against PBKS was probably just a blip, Siraj has been poor throughout IPL 2022.

Josh Hazlewood Registers Unwanted IPL 2022 Record After Nightmare Against Punjab Kings

Royal Challengers pacer Josh Hazlewood has been a consistent performer for the franchise in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season, but the bowler was not at his best against Punjab Kings and he went for 64 runs in his quota of fours over.
