KKR have made their top retention pick in middle-order batter Rinku Singh (INR 13 crore) followed by Andre Russell (INR 12 crore), Sunil Narine (INR 12 crore), Varun Chakaravarthy (INR 12 crore), and uncapped duo of Harshit Rana (INR 4 crore), and Ramandeep Singh (INR 4 crore).
Evin Lewis smashed a scintillating 94 as West Indies routed England by eight wickets in a rain-hit one-day international on Thursday. Lewis blasted an undefeated century to defeat Sri Lanka in Pallekele on Saturday and carried on where he left off against a new-look England in the first of a three-game series. IPL 2024 champions Kolkata Knight Riders have announced their retentions for the upcoming mega auctions. KKR put an end to rumours, keeping hold of star West Indian all-rounder Andre Russell. However, IPL 2024-winning captain Shreyas Iyer was not retained by KKR. As per BCCI's rule, all the ten franchises were asked to submit the final list of their retained players by Thursday, October 31. KKR are one of only two franchises who have retained all six players before the mega auction, meaning they will have no Right to Match (RTM) cards.

Wicketkeeper batter Jordan Cox and bowling allrounder Rehan Ahmed have been added to England's white-ball squads for their upcoming Caribbean tour, starting from October 31 in Antigua. Cox, made his international debut in England's T20I series against Australia last month, will fly head home to the UK after the end of the first day of the ongoing third and final Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi before joining the white-ball tour of the Caribbean. He is expected to be available for all three ODIs, but not the subsequent T20I leg as he prepares for the next Test trip to New Zealand.
