Kyle Walker will be suspended for Manchester City's next two Champions League games after UEFA rejected an appeal over his red card against RB Leipzig. Walker hacked down Andre Silva during the group stage dead rubber on December 7 and it has cost the England defender dear, as he missed his side's 5-0 round of 16 first-leg thrashing of Sporting on Tuesday and will now also be absent for the second leg at the Etihad, as well as the first leg of any potential quarter-final. Ad/> City had initially not appealed the decision, but eventually did so after investigating similar incidents and the possible likelihood of getting the length of the ban reduced.
