Watch: Manav Suthar Produces Stunner To Leave Pakistan A Batter Bamboozled During Emerging Asia Cup

Manav Suthar produced an absolute ripper of a delivery to dismiss Kamran Ghulam during the ACC Emerging Asia Cup match between India A and Pakistan A in Colombo on Wednesday. Kamran was trying to play cautiously against the India A spinners but his defenses were finally breached by a delivery from Manav which both turned and bounced off the pitch. The batter tried to step out of his crease to negotiate the ball but it turned late and wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel made no mistake in completing the stumping. Manav also dismissed Haseebullah Khan and Mohammad Haris.

Pakistan To Change Asia Cup Stance? PCB Wants To Host More Games: Report

The PCB will try to get more matches of the Asia Cup to be staged in Pakistan when the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) board meets in Dubai on Sunday. Following the acceptance of the hybrid model by all stakeholders including the PCB and BCCI, the ACC announced last month that four matches will be held in Pakistan and nine in Sri Lanka with the event to held from August 31 to September 17. "To Refresh Memory": Asian Council's Blunt Reminder To Pakistan Minister Over Asia Cup Remark

As Pakistan continues to change its stance on the venue chaos pertaining to the Asia Cup and the World Cup, a senior Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has sent a firm reminder to the nation's Sports Minister who threatened to not send his team for ODI World Cup in India. The Sports Minister Ehsan Mazari said that Babar Azam's men will not travel to India for the World Cup if the BCCI doesn't send its team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup. After Pakistan Cricket Board boss Zaka Ashraf and BCCI secretary Jay Shah met in Durban, however, it was finalised that the Asia Cup will indeed be held in the proposed hybrid model.

While the 'hybrid model' was already agreed upon by Najam Sethi, the former Pakistan Cricket Board Chief' and the Asian Cricket Council, the Sports Minister Of Pakistan doesn't seem to be on the same page as the nation's cricketing body. "I Can't Do Much": Incoming Pakistan Board Chief Softens Asia Cup Stance

A fresh Asia Cup 2023 controversy seemed to have erupted on Wednesday after the incoming Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Zaka Ashraf slammed the 'hybrid model', suggesting Pakistan should be hosting the entire tournament themselves. The current setup sees Pakistan and Sri Lanka both hosting the continental tournament, but Ashraf wasn't happy seeing the islanders getting the better chunk of games. As his comments became a huge topic of debate among cricket fans on social media, Ashraf softened his stance, suggesting now that the decision has been made, he "can't do anything about it".
