The remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League in Karachi will not be affected by the terrorist attack on the Karachi police chief's office on Friday evening, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi said. Sethi said the matches would continue as presidential security has been in place for the players and officials since the start of the league.

Under-fire PCB chief Zaka Ashraf is expected to get an extension from the caretaker government led by Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar. Reliable sources informed that PM Kakar held a meeting with former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi on Thursday and asked the all-rounder to work with the Zaka-led PCB.
