Ducati power was on full display at the Circuit of the Americas as Jorge Martin stole pole position from the factory riders.
It was the Spaniard’s 200th MotoGP start and from pole position - the last time Aprilia was on pole was back in 2000 in Australia when local rider Jeremy McWilliams was riding for the Italian manufacturer - he was second in to turn one behind Pramac Ducati’s Jorge Martin.

Monster Energy Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo was back in command of the FP3 times at the Circuit of the Americas on Saturday.
The Frenchman set a 2m02.542s to beat Ducati’s Jack Miller to the top spot by over 0.2s in FP2, with reigning world champion Fabio Quartararo leaping up to third late on with a 2m02.837s.

Ducati power locked out the top two on Friday at the Circuit of the Americas as Pramac Racing’s Johann Zarco set the overall pace.

Aquella salida por orejas de su Honda, con testarazo contra el asfalto, provocó que se reprodujeran sus problemas de visión doble del pasado invierno, aunque de manera más leve, y en el FP1 del GP de Las Américas ha quedado claro que está perfectamente apto para pilotar. Aún no lidera como es habitual en él en el circuito de COTA, pero su quinto puesto y su pilotaje exhibido, con trallazados, levantadas de la rueda trasera en algunas frenadas y alguna colada, confirma que sigue buscando los límites y que ha empezado con buenas sensaciones.
