Gujarat Titans pulled off a heist on Sunday as they defeated Chennai Super Kings by three wickets to register their fifth win of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. Chasing 170, Gujarat Titans were staring down the barrel at 87/5 in the 13th over but David Miller scored 94 runs off 51 balls to take his side over the line in the final over. After the win, Miller received a bear hug from opening batter Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya could not also hold his laughter as Gujarat Titans pulled off a great escape.
IPL 2022, GT vs CSK Live Updates: Gujarat Titans (GT) face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 29 of Indian Premier League at the MCA Stadium in Pune. GT are top of the table with four wins from five, and thrashed Rajasthan Royals in the previous match. CSK, on the other hand, sit nine in the points table, having registered their first win in the last game against RCB. Hardik Pandya has led his team from the front, contributing in both departments. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja is yet to find his feet since taking over the captaincy baton from MS Dhoni. Both teams are likely to stick with the same playing XI. (LIVE SCORECARD)
Table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) face a struggling Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their next Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter. CSK are looking to make a resurgence, having won their first match of the season by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore, and will look to continue their upward curve after losing their first four matches of the season, but GT are on a roll, winning four of their five matches so far. They have put in good overall team performances, but there may be focus on Vijay Shankar, who flopped after returning from injury and replacing the young B Sai Sudharshan in the playing XI. Sai Sudharshan looked promising in his few appearances, while Shankar has not impressed when he has played.
Skipper Hardik Pandya hit a blazing 87 to set up a comfortable 37-run victory for Gujarat Titans against Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, as his side replaced their opponents at the top of the Indian Premier League.
IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans Score Updates: Rajasthan Royals (RR) are in control of the proceedings after Gujarat Titans (GT) lost their second wicket in match 24 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Matthew Wade got run out in the second over before Kuldeep Sen dismissed Shankar in the next over. At the toss, RR captain Sanju Samson confirmed that James Neesham will make his debut, and will replace Trent Boult, who has a slight niggle.
Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) suffered their first loss by 8 wickets against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) journey on Monday, April 11. This loss came after a three-match unbeaten start to IPL 2022 by GT that saw them beat Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) on back-to-back occasions. However, Pandya wouldn't be much perturbed by one bad outing and can still give one last chance to players struggling to find their footing so far. One such player is Matthew Wade, who has so far recorded scores of 30,1,6, and 19.
Gujarat Titans. The tale of two skippers at the DY Patil Stadium saw Kane Williamson upstage Hardik Pandya after the former, for the fourth successive time, decided to chase down a target. SRH finished the match at 168/2 to complement the fine work of their bowlers, who restricted the Titans to 162/7. The first four overs of the Powerplay yielded just 11 but Williamson put Sunrisers on course by taking on Mohammed Shami. Abhishek Sharma clattered Lockie Ferguson for 17 in his first over to give their innings a move on. The opening wicket partnership of 64 runs (53b) set it up nicely before they had to contend with the wily Rashid Khan.
