Needing a win to seal their last-four berth, the record 32-time champions struggled to finish a flurry of chances in the first-half. But it all changed seconds after the restart as Bengal won a penalty with Fardin converting it to give them the lead.

Bengal Warriors made a remarkable comeback in the second half to beat Puneri Paltan 43-36 in the Pro Kabaddi League on Friday. The Season 7 champions were trailing by 10 points at halftime but overcame that margin to beat Pune who are fighting for a playoffs spot. Maninder Singh scored a Super 10 (11 points) for Bengal while Mohit Goyat was the top-scorer for Pune with 15 points.

Sachin scored a Super 10 (11 points) and was ably supported by Guman Singh (7 points) in the raiding unit. The Pirates' defence was in top form too with Mohammadreza Shadloui picking up a High 5.
