INDIANAPOLIS — Colts All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor, eligible to return from the physically unable to perform list as of Monday, will resume practicing with the team Wednesday and could play as soon as Sunday's game against the Titans, coach Shane Steichen said.
The Indianapolis Colts have waived Week 1 starter Deon Jackson and signed running back Trey Sermon from the practice squad, the team announced Saturday.
The clock is ticking on a return to the field — and a potential trade — for Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, who is on the physically unable to perform list and is eligible to play in Week 5.

The NFL has filed a grievance against the NFL Players Association, alleging that union leaders, including president JC Tretter, have advised running backs to «consider feigning or exaggerating injuries» to help increase their leverage in contract negotiations.
