Kildare maintained their 100% record in Division 2A of the Allianz Hurling League with a 2-23 to 0-19 victory over Derry at Owenbeg.
Kildare were far from their best at the Centre of Excellence at Hawkfield but they were still able to grind out a 1-17 to 0-19 victory over Down in Division 2A of the Allianz Hurling League.
Kerry started their Division 2A campaign with a convincing win 2-22 to 0-13 win over Derry at Celtic Park.
