The only new face in the side is Maharashtra right-hand batter Rahul Tripathi, who was rewarded for his stellar batting during this edition of IPL where he scored more than 400 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The BCCI on Wednesday announced Team India's squad for the upcoming two-match T20I series against Ireland, starting June 26th in June. Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian team, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named vice-captain. Rahul Tripathi has also found a place in the squad. Hardik will lead India for the first time, and this comes after he led Gujarat Titans to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 title in their debut season.
