UAE Team Emirates rider Juan Ayuso paid tribute to Gino Mader after winning Sunday's final Tour de Suisse stage and finishing second in the general classification.
American rider Magnus Sheffield has been discharged from hospital after crashing at the Tour de Suisse on Thursday, his team Ineos Grenadiers said on Sunday.
Remco Evenepoel pointed to the sky in tribute to Gino Mader as he won Stage 7 of the Tour of Switzerland. Mader died following a crash on Stage 5 on Thursday. Ad Mader, 26, was involved in a crash towards the end of the stage, on the descent to La Punt following 197km of racing, which saw him fall into a ravine, where he was found unresponsive.
Defending champion Michael Woods won the third stage of La Route d'Occitanie on Saturday to move into the overall lead with one stage remaining.
