LONDON: Frank Lampard got off to a losing start on his return as interim Chelsea manager on Saturday (Apr 8) with the Blues beaten 1-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers and still looking toothless in the Premier League.
Wolves beat lacklustre Chelsea 1-0 thanks to a Matheus Nunes stunner. Wolves, who came into the match as the joint-lowest scorers in the Premier League, started the game brightly and knitted together some promising attacks but really lacked conviction in the final third. Ad Julen Lopetegui's side took the lead after 31 minutes thanks to a moment of pure magic from Matheus Nunes.
