As good as the performance was against Chelsea and as massively important as the result was, it’s just one game ticked off and now Everton must finally do the business away from Goodison Park with back-to-back away matches against Leicester City and Watford. The elephant in the room this season is our away for which has been terrible.

LONDON: Everton kept alive their hopes of Premier League survival by beating Chelsea 1-0 on Sunday as Tottenham leapfrogged London rivals Arsenal into the top four with a thumping win against Leicester. The result at a raucous Goodison Park means Frank Lampard’s side are just two points from safety with five games to play — and will leave Leeds and Burnley sweating. After a goalless first half in which Everton had the better of the play, the hosts made the crucial breakthrough just after the restart.
Richarlison sent Everton fans into raptures with his goal against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon – before appearing to lob a smoke bomb back into the Goodison Park stand.
