Lara Gut-Behrami claims super-G crown in dramatic Alpine Ski World Cup finals battle in Soldeu
Lara Gut-Behrami secured the super-G crystal globe with victory at the Alpine Ski World Cup finals in Soldeu. On a dramatic day in which a number of racers were in the hunt for the top prize, the Swiss star powered to victory on the day, allowing her to leapfrog Elena Curtoni, who began the day top of the overall standings. Ad Curtoni’s compatriot, Federica Brignone, was beaten into second, with Norway’s Ragnhild Mowinckel's run good enough for third place.
