Chelsea belum juga bisa meraih kemenangan di Liga Inggris 2023/2024. Unggul jumlah pemain, The Blues takluk 1-3 dari West Ham United.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino suffered his first defeat as Michail Antonio's superb strike and Enzo Fernandez's penalty miss condemned the Blues to a 3-1 loss against West Ham on Sunday. After last weekend's 1-1 draw against Liverpool, Pochettino's side wasted a lively performance as they paid the price for sloppy defending and wasteful finishing at the London Stadium. Antonio blasted West Ham's decisive second goal after half-time and Lucas Paqueta added a late penalty to leave Pochettino still waiting for his first Premier League win since taking charge in the close-season.
James Ward-Prowse set up two goals on his West Ham debut and Lucas Paqueta scored a late penalty as the 10-man Hammers somehow secured a 3-1 win over Chelsea.
He's booked a transfer record journey this week - but Moises Caicedo could have been treading a different path had a former Celtic scout got their way.

Chelsea have signed Romeo Lavia on a seven-year contract from Southampton it was announced Friday in the latest addition to their squad after the teenage midfielder rejected a move to Premier League rivals Liverpool. No fee has been disclosed but British media reports estimated the worth of the deal at 53 million pounds ($67.5 million, 62 million euros), possibly rising to 58 million pounds. Lavia, 19, is the eighth player to join Chelsea in the current transfer window, with the London club, now owned by a consortium led by American businessman Todd Boehly, having spent more than 350 million pounds-- although they have sold several high-value footballers as well.
Chelsea have completed the signing of midfielder Romeo Lavia from Southampton for a reported £53million, rising to £58m, taking their total number of first-team acquisitions this summer to eight.
