BCCI Sends Tough Message To Pakistan After Pahalgam Terror Attack: "Will Not Play..."

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Rajeev Shukla reinforced that India will not play any bilateral cricket against Pakistan in the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Kashmir's Pahalgam. India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since 2012-13 when Pakistan travelled to India for a limited-overs series. India last went to Pakistan in 2008. The only time the two teams face each other is during international competitions with Pakistan coming to India for the ODI World Cup 2023. However, India refused to travel to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025 and their matches - including the match against Pakistan and the final - were held in Dubai.

How Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja Got BCCI's A+ Contract Despite T20 Retirement

The BCCI on Monday retained megastars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the top bracket of its annual players contract list, less than 24 hours after they played sublime knocks to win IPL games for their respective franchises. The out-of-favour duo of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan also returned to the fold in lower brackets in a 34-strong list of centrally-contracted players, which also includes pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja in the highest-paid A+ category. Iyer and keeper-batter Ishan Kishan were dropped from the list last year for allegedly ignoring domestic cricket.

"No Way Gautam ambhir Was Going To...": Explosive Details Behind Abhishek Nayar's Sacking Out

Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir did not protest to the sacking of assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, according to a report by Hindustan Times. Gambhir appointed Nayar as part of his support staff right after becoming the head coach and they share a long partnership from the time they worked together with Kolkata Knight Riders. According to the report, when BCCI decided to 'trim' Gambhir's coaching staff following the poor show in the Test series against Australia, he did not oppose to the idea. It added that Gambhir was more concerned with keeping bowling coach Morne Morkel and the other assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate - both of them were his own recommendations.
