Manuel Feller led an Austrian sweep of the podium at a men's World Cup slalom Saturday in a race that was interrupted by climate activists.
Ramon Zenhausern claimed slalom victory in Soldeu as Lucas Braathen secured the crystal globe in the discipline for the season. Braathen's final run left Zenhausern no chance of overtaking the Norwegian in the overall stakes, but the Swiss took the win, which gave him third in the year-end standings.
Birk Ruud won gold in the Men's Slopestyle World Championships final in Bakuriani, Georgia after a phenomenal second run score of 90.75. AJ Ginnis lost his maiden Alpine Skiing World Cup win in a dramatic slalom in Palisades Tahoe, with Alexander Steen Olsen instead taking his first victory. Ginnis went fastest in the second run, but appeared to straddle one of the gates. However, on the official timings, he was not disqualified.
