Manchester City have submitted an application for major expansion plans at the Etihad Stadium, which includes raising the capacity of the venue to more than 60,000, adding a 400-bed hotel hotel, museum and other facilities in a £300 million investment.

LONDON : Premier League champions Manchester City are submitting plans to increase the capacity of their Etihad Stadium from its current 53,500 to 60,000, the club said on Tuesday.
Manchester City have submitted a planning application to expand the capacity of the Etihad Stadium to more than 60,000 while adding a hotel, museum and other facilities.
Manchester City are pressing on with their plans to develop the Etihad after consulting with fans.
