The Vuelta Femenina’s overall leader, Marianne Vos, won a dramatic and fast-paced third stage but Lizzie Deignan lost ground as crosswinds caused chaos.
Marianne Vos (Jumbo-Visma) won a sprint finish against Charlotte Kool (Team DSM) to triumph at Stage 3 of La Vuelta Femenina and extend her overall lead to 13 seconds ahead of Chloe Dygert (Canyon-SRAM). Kool beat Vos to the line on Stage 2, but a day later the tables were turned with Vos showing off her wealth of experience to beat her Dutch compatiot to the line.
