Brendan Rodgers: Leicester City have to 'fight' due to lack of summer transfer window spending
Brendan Rodgers suggested that a lack of transfer spending was at the root of Leicester’s struggles after a draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday. A 0-0 stalemate was enough to lift the former Premier League champions off the bottom of the table but Nottingham Forest could leapfrog them with their game in hand, and it was another frustrating display at the King Power Stadium. Ad Kasper Schmeichel left Leicester in the summer to join Nice, and Wesley Fofana was sold to Chelsea for around £80 million.
