Anthony Joshua looks set to have a busy remainder of 2023 as he looks set to appear in a pair of potential fights in the heavyweight division — in the UK and Saudi Arabia. According to Sky Sports, Dillian Whyte has signed a contract to fight Joshua on Aug. 12 in London’s O2 arena.

Anthony Joshua has reportedly agreed to remove the rematch clause from his contract in order to secure a fight with his rival Dillian Whyte. Initially, Whyte was the frontrunner to face Joshua on August 12 at The O2 arena, but talks for the highly anticipated domestic clash hit a snag when it was revealed that Whyte hadn't spoken with Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn in a month.
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk's highly anticipated heavyweight title clash has been delayed once more, ruling out a fight between the two this year. Initially planned for the end of April, the bout was put on hold when the two sides could not agree on a rematch clause, despite Usyk accepting a 70/30 purse split in favour of Fury.
