LONDON : Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday to claim a third straight Women's FA Cup title in front of a record crowd at Wembley Stadium, as Australian forward Sam Kerr's strike again proved to be the difference.

Chelsea are through to the semi-finals of the Women’s Champions League following a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over eight-time winners Lyon at Stamford Bridge. The Blues held a narrow advantage from the first leg thanks to Guro Reiten's brilliant curling finish but Vanessa Gilles restored parity in the 77th minute and substitute Sara Dabritz thought she had won it for the French side in extra time.
Guro Raiten's superb strike has given Chelsea a crucial lead after the away leg in the Champions League quarter-final against Lyon. Just before the half-hour mark, Erin Cuthbert won the ball in the Lyon half and played the ball to Reiten on the left edge of the area and Norwegian star curled an unstoppable effort inside the far post.
