LONDON : American Coco Gauff made jaws drop as she launched a 122 mile per hour (mph) rocket and 124 mph effort across the net in the Wimbledon second round on Thursday, the fastest serves so far in the women's tournament.
Coco Gauff is into round three of Wimbledon after an impressive straight sets win over Mihaela Buzarnescu. The teenager, who burst onto the scene at just 15 when she beat Venus Williams in 2019, wowed the Centre Court crowd once more with a 6-2 6-3 win.
