Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada will be available to play in their next Indian Premier League (IPL) match after serving a one-month suspension for taking a recreational drug, Titans Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki said.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have signed Gujarat wicketkeeper-batter Urvil Patel as a replacement for Vansh Bedi, who has been ruled out of the remainder of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 due to a ligament tear in his left ankle. South African speedster Kagiso Rabada served a one-month ban, reduced from three months, for using a recreational drug during the SA20, held earlier this year, according to ESPNcricinfo. In a statement issued by the South African Institute for Drug Free Sports (SAIDS) confirmed, Rabada, who was representing MI Cape Town, had failed a doping test on January 2 following their fixture against Durban Super Giants.

Former Indian cricket team batter Virender Sehwag blamed Chennai Super Kings star Dewald Brevis for his controversial dismissal during the IPL 2025 encounter against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
