Pakistan Star Batters Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman Pick Toughest Bowlers They Faced

Pakistan's ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan chose India's prime pace spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, as the bowler who has caused him difficulty in the present scenario. For his fellow compatriot Fakhar Zaman, it is English tearaway Jofra Archer when he has the new ball in his hand. In a special show, Rizwan, Fakhar and Naseem Shah had a candid chat with former Pak pacer Wahab Riaz playing the host's role. Wahab posed a question to Pakistan's famed cricketing faces and asked them the 'most difficult player' they had faced.

England Test captain Ben Stokes To Miss Early County Games In Fitness Battle

Ben Stokes is not expected to play in the early rounds of the County Championship as he battles to be fit to lead England, his Durham coach Ryan Campbell said on Monday. The 33-year-old Test captain is recovering from hamstring surgery after breaking down in New Zealand in December, his second hamstring tear in five months. But the all-rounder is not yet ready for action in the four-day domestic championship, which starts on Friday. England host Zimbabwe in May, with a five-Test series against India to follow. Later in the year they head to Australia for a five-match Ashes series.

Kraigg Brathwaite Steps Down As West Indies Test captain, Shai Hope Appointed T20I Skipper

Kraigg Brathwaite has stepped down as skipper of the West Indies Test team after four years in charge, Cricket West Indies (CWI) said on Monday after a shift in leadership roles saw Shai Hope taking over captaincy of the T20I side. Brathwaite, 32, was appointed as West Indies' Test captain in place of Jason Holder in March 2021. Hope, who is also the team's ODI skipper, replaced Rovman Powell for T20I captaincy. Powell has led the T20 side since May 2023. In a statement, CWI said, "Brathwaite wanted to ensure the team had a period of transition before his departure. As a result, he has submitted his resignation ahead of the home series against Australia, giving the new leadership time to establish itself.

"Joote Maarne Chahiye": Ex Pakistan Star Loses Cool, Slams 'Professors' Who Made Babar Azam Open

Former cricketer and coach Basit Ali launched a scathing tirade after Pakistan's shambolic defeat against an inexperienced New Zealand side in the first ODI in Napier. From dominating the world, taking the title of Asian Giants, and emerging as a global powerhouse, Pakistan has drifted away from its reputation. They have been chasing shadows of the past self while trying to rebuild its lost glory. Following a 4-1 hammering in the T20I series, Pakistan looked en route to opening the ODI leg with flying colours. However, the hopes were dashed away moments after Pakistan's premier batter, Babar Azam (78), pulled it straight into the hands of Daryl Mitchell.

"Extra Ungli": Wasim Jaffer's Hilarious Hrithik Roshan Reference To Troll Michael Vaughan

A social media banter between former India batter Wasim Jaffer and ex-England captain Michael Vaughan is nothing new. Both the former internationals often get involved in pulling each others' leg on X, formerly known as Twitter. This time Vaughan is the one who initiated the banter and Jaffer came out with a funny reply, giving the reference of famous Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. While reacting to a list of 100 most powerful Indians listed by a newspaper, Vaughan enquired what is the position of Jaffer. He also tagged the ex-India player in the post.

Russell Domingo Replaces Darren Gough As Lahore Qalandars Head Coach Ahead Of PSL 2025

Lahore Qalandars have appointed Russell Domingo as their new head coach for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after Darren Gough stepped down due to "unavoidable personal commitments". Gough was initially named Qalandars' head coach for the Global Super League in Guyana last year, with a long-term plan in place for him to continue in the role for PSL 10. Despite Qalandars' early exit in the group stage of the Super League, the franchise was impressed with Gough's tactical expertise and had backed him for the upcoming PSL season.

Mark Chapman Blasts Ton As New Zealand Win First ODI vs Pakistan By 73 Runs

Mark Chapman struck a sublime century and Nathan Smith claimed four wickets Saturday as New Zealand eased to a 73-run win over Pakistan in the first ODI in Napier. Chapman's career-best 132 formed the foundation of an imposing 344-9 at McLean Park before Pakistan's promising chase capitulated, to be all out for 271 in the 45th over. The tourists looked on track at 249-3, at that point needing 96 runs to win, with more than 11 overs remaining. However, seamer Smith (4-60) helped to spark a late collapse, with the last seven wickets falling for 22 runs.
