The PCB on Friday announced that the coastal city of Gwadar in the restive province of Balochistan will host the players draft for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on January 11. India's celebrated off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin revealed his decision to retire from international cricket moments after the Brisbane Test ended in a draw on Wednesday. "I have written to the Hon'ble Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, requesting that R. Ashwin be conferred with the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. His exceptional contributions to Indian cricket and remarkable achievements on the field make him truly deserving of this honour," Vijay Vasanth wrote in a post on X.
