Set to return after an injury-induced break, two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu is aware the road to Paris will be "challenging" and she needs to be "smarter" in her pursuit of coveted gold medal in the French capital. Former world champion Sindhu has been enduring a lean patch. She has suffered injury setbacks and a dip in form in the last 18 months. She suffered stress fracture on her left ankle during the successful 2022 CWG campaign and later sustained another injury on left knee during the French Open in October last year, forcing her out for three months.

Jadeja posted a picture with a detailed answer to the ongoing situation that said - “All the things stated in the absurd interview of Divya Bhaskar are meaningless and untrue. There is something to be said on one side. Which I deny. The efforts being made to tarnish the image of my wife are indeed condemnable and indecent. I also have a lot to say which is better if I don't say it publicly,” Jadeja posted on X (formerly Twitter). He also included the caption - 'Let's ignore what's said in scripted interviews".

Indian cricket team batter Shreyas Iyer may end up missing the last three Tests against England in the five-match series due to injury. According to a report by Indian Express, Iyer has complained of stiffness on his back and pain in his groin area while batting and that can lead to the batter not playing the remaining matches. The report further claimed that although the kits of all the India cricketers were sent to Rajkot from Visakhapatnam, Iyer's equipment was sent to his home in Mumbai. The next possible step for Iyer is expected to be a rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

David Warner Becomes First Australian To Make 100 Appearances In All Formats

Experienced opener David Warner on Friday became the first player from Australia to make 100 appearances in all formats of cricket following his inclusion in Australia's playing XI for the first T20I clash against West Indies on Friday. Warner making his 100th appearance in the T20I, joined the likes of former skipper Aaron Finch (103) and star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell (100) to become just the third Australian player to achieve the feat. Overall Warner joins the elite company of India's stalwart batter Virat Kohli and New Zealand's Ross Taylor to become the third man to represent his country a hundred times in all formats.
