Bhavina was the star of India's para table tennis team as she defeated her opponent 3-0 in her women's singles class 3-5 match. She won over Bailey by 11-6, 11-6, 11-6 within just three games and assured India another medal.

Day 7 of the ongoing Commonwealth Games saw India add two medals -- a gold and silver -- to their kitty. With six gold, seven silver and seven bronze medals, India are currently seventh in medals tally, having won a total of 20 medals. India's Sudhir bagged a gold in the men's heavyweight final of para powerlifting to end Day 7 on a positive note. Murali Sreeshankar had also clinched a historic silver for India with a best jump of 8.08m in the men's long jump.

Indian Lawn Bowls player Mridul Borgohain lost his section D, round 4 match to Ross Davis of Jersey at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 on Thursday. Borgohain lost to Davis by 13-21 after 18 ends. With this loss, he has failed to qualify for the quarterfinals. He has earned a fourth-place finish in Section D, with two wins and two losses. He had opened his campaign with a loss to Shannon McIlroy of New Zealand. After that, he got two wins against Chris Locke of the Falkland Islands and Iain Donald Smith McLean of Scotland.
