The win, which also brings a cheque for $4.7 million, came seven years after his last ATP Finals victory and will lift him from eighth to fifth in Monday’s new rankings. “I made him run, made him play,” said Djokovic. “I was really pleased with the way I played. I was looking to be very aggressive and it worked great. I am really pleased with the performance.”
