LES FRANQUESES DEL VALLES, Spain : As public debate about racism in Spanish football hit boiling point this week after complaints from Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr, players at grassroots football clubs saw racism in sports as a lesser problem than in their everyday lives.
MONACO : Lewis Hamilton hailed Real Madrid player Vinicius Jr as 'incredibly brave' for his response to racist insults in Spain and said the incidents brought back painful memories from his own career in motor racing.
The men, who were detained on Tuesday, were released on bail and banned from coming within 1 000 metres of a La Liga stadium during matches.
