Vigilante couple 'took the law into their own hands' with a machete in revenge attack
A mum and dad who turned 'vigilante' and chased a man and his girlfriend with a machete and a lump of wood with screws in it have narrowly avoided being sent straight to prison. Reece Davies, 31, and Tara McKenna, 28, 'took the law into their own hands' when they pursued Callum Holden and his girlfriend Jessica Williams, who was then attacked. A court heard they believed Mr Holden was responsible for stabbing Davies in front of their young daughter in February 2019 with the couple, from Lancashire, wiping tears from their eyes as Preston Crown Court was told of the background to the incident on April 25 that year.
