Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa scored 95 and 88 respectively as CSK posted 216/4 in the 20 overs and then the Ravindra Jadeja-led side followed it up with an all-round bowling performance to outclass RCB. RCB were never in with a chance as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. To add to CSK's celebrations, Ambati Rayudu took a blinder of a catch in the 16th over to dismiss RCB's No.9 batter Akash Deep.

RCB bowlers, who have conceded 56 sixes so far in this season, bore the brunt of Uthappa and Dube after CSK lost Ruturaj Gaikwad (17) and Moeen Ali (3) cheaply. Apart from 17 sixes conceded against CSK, RCB conceded 14 against Punjab Kings, 11 against Rajasthan Royals and 7 each against Mumbai Indian and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively in this season.

The all-rounder played an unbeaten knock of 95 runs off 46 balls, hammering five fours, eight sixes. Dube's blistering knock helped Chennai post 216 for four in 20 overs, setting a target of 217 runs. With his power-hitting skills in full display, Dube also smashed a 102-metre six in the final over. Receiving a poor delivery from Josh Hazlewood in the first delivery of the 20th over, Dube effortlessly skied it over long-on for a massive maximum!
Police have registered an offence against two police constables for clicking photos allegedly under influence of alcohol inside the bio-bubble created for IPL players to avoid spread of COVID-19 at the D Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, an official said on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Monday evening when the two police constables were in uniform and deployed in the stadium in the Nerul area for providing security to IPL matches, he said. The constables, Ravindra Mate (33), working with the Navi Mumbai police, and Narendra Nagpure (36), attached with the Thane police, left their place of duty in the stadium and entered the bio-bubble, the official said.
