The Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday confirmed details of England's tour of Pakistan for three Tests, which will be played in December. This will be England's second half of the tour, following seven Twenty20 Internationals in Karachi and Lahore from September 20 to October 2. Ben Stokes' side will open the tour with the first Test in Rawalpindi from December 1-5, before both sides move to Multan for the second Test from December 9-13. Karachi will host the third Test from December 17-21.
Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain has replaced the injured Shaheen Shah Afridi for the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates. The 22-year-old Hasnain returned to cricket in June after remodelling his bowling action. He was suspended in February after being called by umpires during the BBL.
LAHORE : England will tour Pakistan in September for the first time in 17 years to play seven Twenty20 and three test matches, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday confirmed that England will play seven T20Is from September 20 to October 2 in Karachi and Lahore in what will be their first visit of the country in 17 years. The National Stadium will host the matches on 20, 22, 23 and 25 September, before the action will shift to the cricket headquarters at the Gaddafi Stadium where the remaining three matches will be played on 28 and 30 September and 2 October.
The England Cricket Team are scheduled to tour Pakistan for the first time since 2015 when they play a 7-match T20I series and three Tests in September or October. "The delegation which includes two cricket operations officials, two security experts and a representative of their professional cricketers association will be visiting Lahore, Karachi, Multan and Rawalpindi," a senior Pakistan Cricket Board official told PTI.
