Lewis Hamilton admitted that Mercedes' early season struggles are "gutting" after grinding his way to a point at the Saudi Arabian Formula One Grand Prix on Sunday.

El resto, todo son ventajas: Verstappen y Leclerc pelearon en Jeddah Corniche hasta la última vuelta, lideró el monegasco más de media carrera pero le cazó Mad Max, que en el intercambio de golpes siempre ha sido el más temible. Red Bull planeó una carrera al ataque y configuró el RB18 para volar en las rectas. Eso le dio la ventaja al neerlandés, que asedió al Ferrari hasta cinco vueltas del final, se pegó a su estela, no perdió el DRS y le tiró el coche. La primera vez, Charles se la devolvió. La segunda, ambos bloquearon (para ganar el DRS en la recta) y nada cambió. Para la tercera, estudiada y trabajada, Verstappen encerró a Leclerc y se escapó hacia la victoria. El Ferrari no se despegó, pero una bandera amarilla le impediría lanzar la última ofensiva.
