WPL Will Help Us Overcome T20 World Cup Semi-final Defeat: Jemimah

Star batter Jemimah Rodrigues admitted on Thursday that India's heartbreaking loss against Australia in the semi-final of the Women's T20 World Cup is still haunting the players, adding that the Women's Premier League (WPL) would help ease the pain a bit. Jemimah and India captain Harmanpreet Kaur's 69-run fourth-wicket stand had put India in pole position to push for victory but the end of their partnership led the side to a five-run defeat against Meg Lanning's Australia. "It has taken a while, honestly. We were in South Africa for two days after the semis (loss). Everyone was not in a great headspace. But coming here (for WPL), being with the family for two days (has helped ease the pain)," Jemimah said during a Delhi Capitals event in Mumbai.

How Australia Star Matthew Kuhnemann Tricked India, Learning From Ravindra Jadeja's Tropes

Left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann was the star of the show as Australia rolled over India for a paltry total of 109 on Day 1 of the ongoing first Test in Indore. The Queenslander bagged his maiden five-wicket haul as Australia managed to take a 47-run lead on the opening day at the Holkar Stadium. "India's All-Time XI": Ravi Shastri's Massive Comment On Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja

Ravichandran Ashwin should be "right up there" among India's all-time greats and his spin twin Ravindra Jadeja also isn'tfar behind, feels former India head coach Ravi Shastri. Ashwin and Jadeja has emerged as one of the deadliest duo in world cricket as they have picked a staggering 462 wickets between them in the 45 Tests that they have played together. The duo collected 16 wickets in the Delhi Test to add to their 15 in the first Test at Nagpur as India took a 2-0 lead in the four-Test series. "Mockery Of Test Cricket": India Legend's Scathing Verdict On Indore Pitch

The wicket nature of the 22-yard strip at the Holkar Stadium where deliveries started turning square from the word go has reignited the debate of the India dishing out under-prepared surfaces for the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy games against Australia. The ICC match referee Chris Broad is almost certain to take cognisance of the diabolical nature of the track and it won't be surprising that after Nagpur and Delhi which were rated "average", the track for the ongoing Test match could well get a "Below Average" rating. India were all out for 109 in just over a session while Australia managed to crawl to 156 for 4 as 14 wickets fell by the end of the day's play.
